A Strong Finish for the Marathon Master Aaron ODonnell delivered an impressive performance at the 2025 Breckenridge Road Marathon, finishing with an overall time of 3:44:49. His consistent pace of 8:34 min/mile contributed to his first-place finish overall, in the male category, and within the M50-59 division among 88 competitors. Aaron dominated the latter half of the race, especially holding the top spot consistently from mile 12 onwards. Notable split times include his swiftest mile at 7:20 min/mile between mile 2 and 3, demonstrating his early race strength. Although there was a noticeable pace increase to 10:39 min/mile in the final stretch at mile 26, his strategic pacing throughout allowed him to maintain a leading position. Aaron can continue to hone his pacing strategy to sustain his swift early race speeds and combat late-stage slowdowns to further improve his impressive marathon performances.
