Consistent Early Race Performance with Strong Division Placement Jack Beaumaster maintained a steady pace during the initial part of the 2025 Breckenridge Road Marathon, completing the first half with an impressive performance in the M20-29 division. He was 2nd in his category at the 1st-mile split with a pace of 8:13 min/mile. By the 3rd mile, he had already advanced to 1st place in his division and held onto this lead through mile 17. Notably, Jack finished the first 13 miles with an impressive average pace of under 8:30 min/mile. In the later stages of the race, Jack experienced a slowdown, finishing the marathon with an overall pace of 9:58 min/mile. He eventually placed 3rd in the M20-29 division, which is commendable. Despite the decrease in pace, Jack's determination and ability to manage the early race pace are promising signs for future races. Focusing on endurance could lead to an even stronger finish.
