Consistent Start Leads to Strong Finish Meghan started the Breckenridge Road Marathon Half impressively, holding a consistent pace of 7:08 to 7:14 min/mile for the first six miles. This discipline kept her well placed in the top ten among female runners and helped secure a strong initial position in her age category, consistently placing 4th in F20-29 early on. Although her pace decreased slightly in later miles, averaging 7:39 min/mile, her strategic start allowed her to finish 3rd in her division. Notably, Meghan completed the race with an overall time of 1:40:23, placing 6th among females and 17th overall out of 373 participants. For future races, maintaining the early pace during later splits could enhance her performance even further, potentially climbing even higher in both gender and division rankings.
