Consistent Early Pace with Strategic Finish Sedona demonstrated a strong start at the 2025 Breckenridge Road Marathon, maintaining an average pace of just over 8:30 min/mile for the majority of the first half. Her decisive split of 8:05 in the first mile positioned her as the 3rd fastest female overall and 3rd in her division. She impressively held the 2nd position in the F20-29 division from miles 2 to 7. Despite a temporary pace increase around mile 12, where the pace slowed to 10:27 min/mile, she regained her position. In the latter half, the pace decline to a final average of 10:20 min/mile resulted in a division finish as 2nd in F20-29. Her consistency throughout, especially her ability to reclaim her division position in the second half, should be commended. Future training might focus on sustaining pace beyond the halfway mark to maintain early momentum. Overall, Sedona demonstrated strategic pacing and determination in her performance.
