Impressive Speed and Strategic Pacing Savannah Shaw delivered an impressive performance in the 2025 Boston 10K for Women. Her final time was 33:28, averaging a pace of 5:23 per mile over the 6.2-mile course. She demonstrated strong early speed, opening with a 5:20 mile that placed her 3rd overall and in her age division. Although the second mile slowed to 7:48, her pace surged notably in the third and fourth miles, clocking identical splits of 4:10 min/mile. In the latter stages, Savannah effectively maintained her swift pace, with her final two miles recorded at 5:28 and 5:29 min/mile, respectively. Ending in 7th place overall, she showed remarkable consistency and endurance. One potential focus area could be pacing during the second mile to sustain momentum throughout the race. Overall, an excellent display of skill and speed.
