Strong Finish with Exceptional Consistency Katherine Jovanovic from Boca Raton, FL, demonstrated exceptional pacing in the 2025 Boston 10K for Women, completing the race in 36:53 with an average pace of 5:56 min/mile. Her consistency is noteworthy as the majority of her splits were around the 5:56 mark. Particularly impressive were the final three miles, where she maintained a steady pace, clocking three consecutive splits under six minutes each. Initially, Katherine began at a high tempo with a 5:59 opening mile. Mile two saw a slower pace at 8:39, but she quickly regained momentum, showcasing a remarkable 3:40 split in mile three. Throughout the race, Katherine secured strong placements, finishing 18th out of 5642 participants overall. As she was able to quickly adjust her pace, maintaining speed in the later stages, focusing on keeping more evenly paced miles could lead to further improvements in efficiency and performance.
