Consistent Top Performer on the Course Seungbum Kim, age 53 from Bozeman, MT, presented a commendable performance in the 2025 Vacation Races | Bryce Canyon Ultras 50-Mile event. He completed a 48.91-mile distance in an elapsed time of 10:27:00, with an average pace of 12:49 min/mile. Seungbum consistently placed within the top five overall and was fourth in his gender for the majority of the race, finishing as the fourth male out of 149 participants. Reviewing the split data, Seungbum's performance was marked by an impressive initial pace, especially at Blue Fly with a split pace of 6:21 min/mile, securing 4th place overall and in the gender category early on. However, splits at Thunder and subsequent stages showed some slowing, with paces such as 15:50 min/mile and 18:13 min/mile at Hillsdale. Focusing on maintaining consistent pacing across longer distances and during difficult terrain may further enhance performance. Overall, a solid effort was made.
