Consistent Performance throughout the Course Jerry Espinosa completed the 2025 Bryce Canyon Ultras 50K with an overall time of 7:48:06, covering a distance of 32.24 miles with an average pace of 14:31 min/mile. Starting strong, Jerry quickly moved up from 89th place at the start to 12th place after the first mile with a commendable split pace of 11:34. By maintaining an early strong pace and placing 10th overall by the Proctor Canyon checkpoint, Jerry demonstrated a solid start and efficient pacing strategy. Throughout the middle sections, Jerry managed to keep a competitive edge. Notably, from Hillsdale 1 to Thunder 1, he delivered a split pace of 12:34 over 5.1 miles. As the course progressed, slight variations in split paces like 16:29 at Hillsdale 2 and 20:57 through Monster Mash hint at potential targets for maintaining pace and consistency in future long-distance events. Despite this, Jerry finished within the top 10 males, underscoring his determination and capability in longer races.
