Strong Finish with Consistent Pace Jeff Chipman completed the 2025 Vacation Races Bryce Canyon Ultras 60K with an impressive time of 6:44:22, maintaining a consistent pace of 11:02 min/mile over the 36.6 miles. Jeff placed 3rd overall and within his gender, marking a noteworthy achievement in a field of 151 participants. He demonstrated strong starts and maintained high rankings through various checkpoints, such as at Proctor Canyon where his split time was 40:13 for a pace of 10:07, placing him 2nd overall temporarily. Throughout the race, Jeff showcased consistent pacing, with notable splits such as a 9:22 pace over a 4.01-mile segment by Mile 18. The most challenging segment appeared to be Monster Mash, where his pace slowed to 16:39; however, he quickly rebounded, finishing strong with a 9:45 pace in the final 2 miles. For future races, Jeff might focus on maintaining a steady pace during more challenging segments like Monster Mash to further improve his overall time.
