Strong Start with Consistent Placement Nick Gonzalez delivered an impressive performance at the 2025 Lemonade Dash - Austin 5K. Starting with a fast first mile at a 6:25 min/mile pace, Nick secured the 3rd overall spot right from the beginning. His strategic placement in the M20-29 age group was consistent, holding the 2nd position across all splits. Although there was a pace drop from 6:25 to an overall average of 8:26 min/mile by the race's end, his efforts led him to finish 2nd in his age division. Notably, his overall place remained competitive at 21st, and 14th among males. For future races, working on maintaining early pace throughout could enhance race stamina as he attempts to push his finishing time even further. The performance demonstrates a strong foundation and room to build on his current speed endurance abilities.
