On February 8, 2008 I stepped on the scale in the doctor's office and thought someone was standing behind me to make the number so big. I had gained so much weight I could barely bend over to tie my shoes and I was breathing heavy as I sat still in my chair. All I did was go to work, go out to eat for dinner, and then go to bed before starting the cycle all over again the next day.
Fast forward to August 1, 2009, where I reached my goal of losing a total of 104 pounds! It wasn't until 2010 that I started to run and now I am addicted!
I paced the Big Cottonwood Marathon with the American Flyers Race Pacers, and enjoyed GO BIG in this beautiful canyon run!
(Karrie was the 4:30 pacer and came across the line in 4:29:35. Congrats to Karrie on her incredible journey, and thanks for the great pacing!)
