The Cottonwood Canyons Foundation and the Big Cottonwood Community Council have been gracious enough to share this beautiful venue with us for the race.

Big Cottonwood Canyon is a protected watershed canyon, and as such provides a large portion of the drinking water for the Wasatch Front. Because of this special designation, our ability to permit REVEL Big Cottonwood depends upon our good stewardship of the canyon. We ask you to help us in this effort by:

  • Not using the outdoors as a restroom
  • Placing all your trash at the start lines in garbage cans
  • Leaving all clothing items at an aid station, not along the road
  • Leaving all cups, wrappers, and Gu packets close to an aid station

We hope that you enjoy REVEL Big Cottonwood enough to help us in this effort so that we can be good stewards and ensure our ability to continue running the event in this beautiful venue.
